OUR LOCAL FLAVORISTS

The people behind the food

Because great food always starts with great people, here are the artisans who give this self-guided food tour its soul.

Christophe in front of his restaurant, holding a big bread he made

Christophe

Christophe works with living ingredients. His sourdough bread, natural wines, and small plates are all about time, fermentation, and letting flavors evolve naturally.

Laetitia and Adrien together, both holding pastries they made

Laetitia & Adrien

Adrien and Laetitia share a deep love for baking. They create thoughtful, high-quality pastries and breads, driven by passion and the desire to pass on their craft.

Quentin in his kitchen, holding a big batch of the madeleines he made

Quentin

Quentin started baking madeleines to bring back a childhood flavor and texture he couldn’t find anymore. Soft and slightly crisp on the outside, his madeleines are worth a try.

Sasha and Nicolas. Both smiling, Nicolas has his hand on Sasha's shoulder

Nicolas & Sasha

Nicolas and Sasha are childhood friends, brought together by a shared love for French cuisine and its savoir-faire. Together, they chose to shine a light on an iconic dish: the soufflé.

GET TO KNOW ME

Hi, I'm Dana.

I created Local Flavorists for travelers who, like me, enjoy taking their time and discovering a place through its food, without overthinking where to go next.

For me, the best traditional French food isn’t found in trendy, Instagram-famous spots, but in those quiet hidden gems locals go back to again and again, and that’s exactly what I want to help you discover.
